Recycling Alternative shreds your documents at our centrally located Vancouver warehouse, eliminating noisy, idling mobile shred trucks. When a collection is needed, rest assured that our trucks run on recycled waste biodiesel in order to cut down on emissions. After your documents are shredded all paper is recycled.

Recycling Alternative is fully bonded and insured. Upon request we will provide you with a Certificate of Destruction for your confidential shredding.

TWO CONVENIENT SHREDDING OPTIONS

1. Drop-off Shredding

Come down to Recycling Alternative with your confidential documents. Our staff will help you unload your materials for shredding.

Location: 360 Industrial Ave, Vancouver Drop off hours: Monday-Friday 10:30-2:30 Rates: 150 pounds or less (i.e. 4-5 file boxes) = $30.00 150 pounds or more = $0.20 per pound

Standard file/bankers box holds ~25-30lbs Please make sure your documents are removed from binders and hanging folders – paper clips and staples are fine.

If you need to witness your documents being shredded, we can accommodate your request, by appointment only. Please contact us to inquire for “Drop & Watch”rates, times and appointments.

2. Pick-up services

If you have a large shredding purge to do we can send our truck to your business for a collection. All documents are shredded back at our secure warehouse and a Certificate of Destruction is provided along with your receipts.

Rates: $0.20 per pound for shredding + collection fee. Collection fee is based on location and loading time – Please contact us for a quote.
